Spring Apparel
Maple
buds unravel,
edges fray, knots of red
thread litter the ground, bare limbs wear
leaf green.
Narcissus Poeticus
Recurved
white perianths
saucer green in orange
edged yellow cups spill poetic
petals.
Weeds
Yellow
intruders on
the lawn, a puff of breath,
dandelion stars disperse wish
flowers.
Asylum
Van Gogh's
blue irises
overflow air, broken
brush strokes silhouette violet
voices.
