Orient Point
Sitting
by the shoreline
my heart breaks with the waves -
over and over eclipsing
the sun.
Apparition
Wind-whipped,
fog rolls through heaths -
a slender finger from
a pale woman with dark wild hair
beckons
summoning me to dream of her -
the train passes, taking
her, leaving me
haunted.
Day for Night
Asleep
from dawn to dusk...
blue sky drips through my dream-
catcher, its webbed centre holding
the sun.
Awake
with the moonlight
shining on gusts of wind --
the shadows of origami
cranes fly.
