Autumn Music
Wind plays
its symphony
with trees for violins,
plucking leaf-notes from branches in
reprise.
Hiking to Akaka Falls
Crashing
water cascade,
an exclamation point
to the rainbow prize waiting at
trail's end.
Some Sweets Can Sting
Obsessed
with dreams of gold,
the bear cub noses toward
its lesson with a honeycomb
and bees.
Winter Masterpiece
Last night,
what artist came,
sketched out these feathers, ferns
and lace across my windowpane
and left?
