AMAZE

Kathleen Thomas
Unnatural Moon

Bleached moon
its creeping stealth
stolen by sure deceit
through blueness of the burning day:
moonlight.

Shadow

Lost child--
how silently
your steps . . . your shadows glide
across that wide pond . . . rippling
sorrows.
