through wind and snowy sleet

Dreamless Night
awake
in the darkness
reciting the poems
that I wish were of you and me
all night
|
awake
with the bright dawn
her scent disappears with
my fleeting dreams and the sparrow's
faint call

Raindrops
Raindrops
on my window
trickle soft and slowly.
Tender as her fingernails, down
my spine.
