AMAZE

Cindy Tebo and John Wisdom
jazz speak

jazz be
bluerahs you feel
street found, soul town, deep down
life-blow, out-go, zip-zop zazz to
da beat
bourbon
street blues; sweet sway of slowsome beads
to the sexy trombone
beer-howling wolf
whistles

mambolaya

sand sting
in the pepper
and squirts of hot tango
we turn crimson creola with
each taste
pan fried
okra sends sizzly warmth throughout
the amber lit kitchen
scents of southern
comfort

geopaintrics

dali's
warped watch echoes
indefatigably
the throbbing mass of time's curtain
hicccupp
sunstretched
rubber flower on a banded
red rock, tic toc, wind clock
colored splots of
sing-song
