AMAZE

Candace McBride

The Leaves Fall

Crumpled,
searing summer
steals autumn's lovely hues;
all is brown in the hands of the
novice.

Wild Hunt

Whispers
among the trees:
racing across the sky,
they come to hunt summer's castoffs;
leaves flee.
