AMAZE

Theolyn Brock

Paper Airplane

Left to
wind whimsy with
uncertain flight patterns—
such fragile wings buoyed by gusts
of fate.

Portable Altar

Pipe-smoke
tendrils sway so
heady with soul spirit.
From hand-to-hand ancestors prayed
in rings.

Cloaked

Evil
comes unbidden.
Dark fog creeps on white snow—
so slowly the vampire closes
his cape.
