Ross Plovnick

Monday, On the Clothesline

The pants
he wears to church
and her best Sunday dress
dance the two-step to a sermon
of wind.

Arizona Masterpiece

desert sunset
cloud whites ignite until
the eagle eye cannot tell earth
from sky.

Spring Thaw

March wind
stirs northern lakes
when ice has melted off,
says time to lighten up again
and dance.
