AMAZE
Pam Pignataro

Where The Sun Can't Reach

Cut rocks
still carry snow
in unlined pockets sewn
from fabric of the earth, now old
and worn.

Winter's
ragged seams still
hide gems of crystal ice
from greedy eyes and fingers of
the sun.
